About Us

My Italian Circle - Anna and Diana

I met Anna at university in Venice. We were both studying Chinese and we ended up going to China together to complete our studies. A few years ago, after quitting a job at the airport in Verona, Anna was able to go back to her passion for languages and began to work as an English teacher at local companies. At the time she was also teaching a kid who hated English with all her heart. Well, after a few months with Anna, that kid ended up going to language high school. That's when I realised that Anna should teach languages to more people and reach a wider audience with her competence, empathy, and passion.

We finally decided to open a YouTube channel and create video lessons especially designed for English speakers. Even if the beginnings were rough, we believe that we are now making a difference by creating unique, high-quality content for learners of Italian who want to go beyond the surface and are not content with an easy fix. We learned a lot through this experience and we look forward to continuing on this path and learning new things every day! Diana
